Synogize was tasked to work closely with our automotive client to be able to take them closer to the goal of transforming their Demand and Supply Planning process to a more Integrated Business Planning model. This involves implementing improvements and automations to existing planning processes to have more accurate plan and more optimized inventory management.

The company is currently focused on vehicles powered by a range of alternative fuels and vehicles with potential for automated driving, whilst continuing to ensure that customers drive vehicles that are safe, durable, and reliable that people expect from their brand.

The first challenge was the existing Demand Planning system that could not keep up with the fast-paced changes in the automotive industry. The COVID pandemic exacerbated the situation, putting a strain on the supply chain and causing significant disruptions.
